Through the Looking Glass
Through the Looking Glass (TLG) is a community non-profit organization which emerged from
the disability independent living movement in 1982. TLG has pioneered clinical and
supportive services, training and research serving families in which one or more
members--whether parent or child--has a disability or medical issue. TLG's mission has
been to create, demonstrate and encourage resources and model early intervention services
which are empowering.

RESNA
RESNA is the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America.
It is an interdisciplinary association of people with a common interest in technology and
disability. Its purpose is to improve the potential of people with disabilities to achieve
their goals through the use of technology. This purpose is served by promoting research,
development, education, advocacy and the provision of technology and by supporting the
people engaged in these activities. RESNA's membership ranges from rehabilitation
professionals to consumers. All members are dedicated to promoting the exchange of ideas
and information for the advancement of assistive technology.
