International Nursing Research Congress held in
the Czech Republic on July 22-26.

Junior Liz Long says the
National Student Nurses' Association Summer
Leadership Conference was "a wonderful
experience in which I not only had the
opportunity to meet other nursing students and
faculty, but also learned some new ideas that
can further strengthen our already award-winning
SNAP chapter." She, along with sister Meghan,
attended with faculty advisor and conference
speaker Dr. Carol Weingarten.

“My ultimate goal is to reach my full potential
as a skilled and compassionate advanced practice
nurse who continues on a path of lifelong
learning,” says Erin Colden, BSN, RN, a student
in the Adult-Gerontology NP program. Two new
scholarships from IBC Foundation and PSNA will
help her do just that.
COPE team expands with program manager
Rebecca Shenkman, MPH, RDN, LDN joined the
MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention and
Education (COPE) this spring as as a part time
