Save the dates
Join
the College of Nursing on April 5 & 6, 2013 for a
conference in celebration of its 60th anniversary. There
will also be recognition for the 10th anniversary of the
second degree accelerated BSN program, the 10th
anniversary of the PhD program and the 35th anniversary
of the CE program. More details to come!

Promoting health and education in Peru
The
international and multicultural study
opportunities provided by the College and
partially supported by the Connelly-Delouvrier
International Scholars Program are game-changers
for our students. Find out why as a camera crew
follows faculty and students in Chulucanas, Peru
in March.

Changing the future for local infants
Senior
nursing students assessed a nearby community and
noted a high infant mortality rate. They
researched available resources and devised
strategies to combat the issue. Their creative
plan impressed local officials, leading to a
presentation to municipal council.

An inspiring year
Rising
senior Jennifer Gil has had a long and
interesting road to her college education and
hasn't wasted time making the most if it. Now
she paves the way towards doctoral education and
a focus on global health disparities.

colloquium and some were honored with
awards-among them
