January 2013

As we all turn the page to a new year, we encourage you to mark that calendar for April 6! The 60th Anniversary conference “Partners in advancing global health: educating the next generation” includes two dynamic and thought-provoking keynoters:  Dr. Louis Hugo Francescutti, Professor, Department of Public Health Sciences, University of Alberta, and President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada; and Dr. Naeema Al-Gasseer, World Health Organization Representative for Egypt.

Save the date!
Alumni, be sure to be part of Reunion 2013 (June 6-9)! Note there will be special events in recognition of the 10 year anniversary of our second degree accelerated program on Saturday, June 8. We hope to see all of our "BSNExpress" graduates there. West campus housing registration is live!

New graduate employment
There was an 85% response rate among Class of 2012 graduates for a Career Services job placement survey. Results indicated that of those who responded, 94% are employed full time with an average salary of $52,630. Congratulations to our new alumni as well as faculty and staff!
